The iconic Great Ocean Road in Western Victoria is one of the best places in Australia to spot koalas. I found this one at dusk near the aptly named Koala Café just outside of Apollo Bay. Koalas sleep for around 20 hours a day, so it's always exciting to find one moving about. That is, unless you're trying to sleep – Koalas make some nightmarish noises in the dead of night!
