Hi, I’m Kelsey, a photographer from Melbourne, Australia. Melbourne may be my home, but it’s certainly not the only place you’ll find me with my camera. As an avid traveller, hiker, nature lover and all-round adventure seeker, I’m always on the move, exploring new wild and wonderful places.
On weekends, you’ll likely find me hiking with friends along a new local trail, patiently waiting for an echidna to turn its head my way, camping among the gumtrees or staying up late to catch a glimpse of the Milky Way. Come winter, you’re more likely to find me with my backpack in some far-flung corner of the globe, swapping the cold for a new life-changing adventure – from diving with manta rays in Japan to hiking an active volcano in Guatemala or riding a horse through the vast fields of Mongolia.
I love exploring the world and noticing its many forms of beauty and vibrance. The way that first ray of sunlight in the morning casts a golden glow over everything it touches. The creamy blue and white tones of the ocean during a huge swell of waves. The wry smile of a koala feasting on eucalyptus leaves, or the curious glance of a joey peeking out from its mother’s pouch. The neon lights of the Hong Kong skyline reflected in the harbour, or the vivid colours of a local market overflowing with exotic delights. It is this appreciation and awe for the world around us that I try to capture in my photos. The little moments of life and joy that so easily go unnoticed.
