Each evening, the Melbourne city skyline comes to life as thousands of grey-headed flying-foxes fly into the sunset. During the day, these flying-foxes roost in huge numbers by the banks of the Yarra River in Kew. These flying mammals may seem eerie at night, but hidden beneath their wide black wings is a cute, furry face and big, beaming eyes.
