I was lucky enough to spend a beautiful morning watching the sun rise over the banks of the Daintree River, cruising on a small boat in search of birds, reptiles and crocodiles. Thanks to the sharp eyes of our guide, we were able to see a few different species of kingfisher, including this Azure Kingfisher perched in the sun.
